New Business and Premium Economy cabin interiors for WestJet

With the aircraft, WestJet is ushering in a new global era. The modern livery and stylish, contemporary interior reflect the airline’s transition from a regional carrier to a global network airline. The airline is also presenting its new Business cabin featuring 16 lay-flat pods for the first time.
The interior was designed by PriestmanGoode, a design consultancy firm from England. The colour palette of the cabin interiors is inspired by the breathtaking landscapes of Canada. Lantal was able to implement these inspirations for the seat covers, carpets and curtains in Business and Premium Economy. While the colour palette of the Premium Economy is influenced by the bright Northern Lights, the Business cabin reflects the warmth of Canadian summer evenings with luxurious earth tones. At the same time, WestJet's corporate colours are represented by the dark navy and teal shades throughout the cabin.
